Affected by the novel coronavirus infection, the school decided to postpone the opening term of the spring semester in 2020 according to the requirements of the Ministry of education and the Department of education of Henan province. On January 31, the Educational Administration Office pointed out in the work arrangement of undergraduate teaching during the extension of the opening period that classes will not be suspended, classes will not be suspended, and teaching units will organize teachers to establish students' course learning classes through the network platforms such as wisdom tree, rain class, love class, etc., and students' course learning groups can also be established through wechat, QQ, etc., so as to carry out online teaching activities. If there is no self built online open course resources, we can select high-quality course resources from love course, China University MOOC, Xuetang online, Chaoxing Erya and other platforms to recommend and guide students' online learning.

During the epidemic prevention and control work, teachers and students are in the winter vacation. The party and government leaders of the College of pharmacy put the life safety and health of teachers and students and staff first, and publicized the epidemic prevention and control decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee, governments at all levels and our school, so as to fulfill the responsibility of keeping the soil. On February 4, in a very short period of time, the teaching plan for the period of epidemic prevention and control in the College of pharmacy was issued. Wu Yijun, the dean of teaching, carefully reminded the teachers of online teaching to carry out ideological and political education, guide the students to believe in the party and the government, enhance their confidence, actively support the epidemic prevention and control, consciously obey the territorial management, and take the initiative to do a good job in personal protection.

In the second semester of 2019-2020 academic year, there are 42 undergraduate professional courses in pharmacy college and 29 courses in Minsheng college, with a large amount of teaching tasks. Online teaching requires teachers to participate in the construction of learning platform, organize learning community and set up assessment feedback mechanism in a very short time, which is very difficult. The majority of teachers take the initiative to give up the rest time, give full play to their subjective initiative, actively explore the possibility of technology tools for education and teaching, and enthusiastically communicate, discuss and share in wechat group. Some teachers also invite their children to help with online simulation when they are working at home, so as to make sufficient preparations before the class starts as far as possible, and provide students with enough fluent learning experience in the formal teaching. As a bridge between teachers and students, educational administration and counselors and teachers work hard day and night to timely and effectively transmit the information of all kinds of courses. In February 10th, the novel coronavirus infection prevention and control plan for the 2020 graduation thesis was published, which made arrangements for the 223 graduate students in advance.
