On 02 December, the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized the 2020 annual high level talent assessment in the second floor meeting room of the college.The assessment was conducted in the network remote video mode of Tengsheng meeting, and the personnel involved were responsible for leading the meeting with dossier.

Prof. Shaofeng Duan, a Yellow River scholar from Henan University, received the expiry assessment, and Prof. Xiaojun Du, a special professor of the University, received the interim assessment.The assessment panel consisted of 7 individuals from Prof. Xianli Meng at Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine, a research fellow Jinhua Wang at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, a research fellow Xiangtao Wang at the Institute of medicinal plants, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and 4 experts from Henan University School of pharmaceutical Sciences, with the team leader held by Prof. Xianli Meng at Chengdu Central Pharmaceutical University.

The two professors who were evaluated in conjunction with the recruitment period requirements provided detailed descriptions of the personal profiles, work progress, main results, job summaries, and plans for future work.The experts of the on-site and online assessment group communicated carefully and candidly with the assessment subjects, and both fully confirmed the work performance of the two professors and actually pointed out the existing problems and the next direction of effort, but also provided many valuable suggestions for the team construction, discipline layout, and research direction of the college.
