(7) Putonghua is the professional language of teachers, and teachers must use Putonghua in class. Teachers who do not use Putonghua in classroom teaching during the specified age period must meet the corresponding grade requirements of putonghua level stipulated by the Provincial Language Office.
(8) Teachers shall carefully organize teaching, care about students' attendance and attendance, and make detailed requirements for students' attendance in class.
(9) Teachers and students must turn off mobile phones and other communication tools during class.
(10) Teachers shall enter the classroom in advance and go on or finish classes on time, and organize teaching in accordance with all links of teaching. Article 6 Classroom teaching attendance management.
(1) Requirements on students' attendance in class. Students must attend classes at the beginning of each semester, no matter how many elective courses they choose to take. Teachers should carefully organize teaching, care about students' attendance and attendance, and timely criticize and educate students who fail to observe classroom discipline, often arrive late, leave early or be absent from class. Under any of the following circumstances, the teacher shall cancel the student's qualification for the final examination of the course.
1. Those who fail to go through the procedures of attendance exemption and are absent from class for a semester, whose accumulated class hours reach or exceed one-sixth of the total teaching hours of the course; Being late or leaving early in serious cases will be punished as being absent from class.
2. The accumulative number of class hours on leave per semester has reached or exceeded one quarter of the total teaching hours of the course.
3. Those who take a certain course but fail to hand in a quarter of the usual homework of that course.
4. If a student elects a course that has experiments and the accumulative number of experimental hours is one fourth of the total experimental hours, or the number of experimental reports that should be submitted is one fourth of the absence.
(2) Requirements for classroom teaching management of teachers. Therefore, teachers' classroom teaching should conform to the following provisions and requirements:
1. The class attendance rate of students (the class attendance rate of teachers) is an important factor to reflect the quality of classroom teaching. The teacher should register the attendance of the students before each class (the attendance can be flexibly controlled according to the number of the class). If the student's attendance rate is less than 90%, the teacher should find out the reason carefully and make rectification.
2. Teachers should report the attendance of students to the office of the unit on a monthly basis. Before the final examination of each semester, the teacher shall report to the academic Affairs Office of the unit the list of students who have been disqualified for the course due to unsatisfactory attendance; After the end of the final examination, the original transcript will be submitted to the academic Affairs Office of the unit together with the student attendance sheet of the semester, as an important basis for evaluating the student's comprehensive score. (3) Requirements for teaching units and functional departments.
1. Each teaching unit shall, in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations of Henan University and in combination with the actual situation, set up a teaching supervision and inspection team and work out the regulations on classroom teaching and student attendance management of the unit, so as to effectively improve the teaching quality in the actual teaching management.
2. Each teaching unit will regularly publish a list of the inspection status of student attendance and report the summary results to the Office of Academic Affairs in writing.
3. The teaching supervision group of the school conducts random checks on the class attendance of students, and the results of random checks are regularly published online by the Educational Administration. The summary of the results of spot check will serve as an important basis for measuring the teaching work of each teaching unit in terms of semester and academic year.
Article 7 The Office of Academic Affairs shall be responsible for the interpretation of these Norms and shall take effect as of the date of promulgation. The Classroom Teaching Standards of Henan University issued in 2006 (No. [2006] 103) shall be repealed simultaneously.
