Article 1 Teaching is the regular central work of universities and colleges, and it is an important means to achieve educational objectives and implement educational policies. Teachers play a leading role in teaching. These measures are formulated in order to further deepen the teaching reform of our school, strengthen the teaching management, cultivate excellent teaching style, establish a good teaching order, make teachers' teaching work scientific and standardized, and improve the quality of teaching and personnel training.
Article 2 As the front line of ideological work, colleges and universities shoulder the important task of studying, researching and propagating Marxism, cultivating and carrying forward the core socialist values, and providing the personnel guarantee and intellectual support for realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. As teachers in colleges and universities, they should actively cultivate and practice socialist core values, keep consistent with the CPC Central Committee politically, be loyal to the educational cause of the people, earnestly study educational theories, actively undertake teaching tasks, study assiduously, teach and educate others, and act as a model.
Article 3 Teachers shall treat their teaching work with good ethics and professional dedication, and with a high sense of responsibility. Decorous, generous, civilized language, model to abide by the rules and regulations of the school.
Article 4 A principal teacher of a course shall have the following basic conditions:
(I) Shall serve as a teaching assistant for a certain period of time. Before giving a lecture, the teaching plan and teaching preparation shall be reviewed by the teaching and research office, and a trial lecture shall be held in the college, which shall be examined and determined by the director of the teaching and research Office and the dean of teaching to have the corresponding teaching level.
(2) Be able to accurately grasp the basic content, key points and difficult points of the course according to the requirements of the proposed course syllabus, get familiar with the teaching materials and accumulate a certain amount of teaching reference materials and relevant knowledge.
(3) To have a preliminary grasp of the teaching methods and means of the proposed course and be familiar with the main teaching links.
Article 5 A teacher who has obtained the qualification for teaching another course shall generally meet the following conditions:
(1) The applicant shall hold a professional and technical position as a lecturer or above, or hold a master's degree or above.
(2) Having a certain scientific research foundation in the subject area of the course, being able to independently complete the teaching and experimental work of the new course, and having the ability to lead students to engage in professional practice and social practice activities.
Article 6 For new courses opened according to discipline development or due to changes in professional teaching plans, teachers shall write an argumentation report for the opening of new courses one semester before the opening of classes, which shall be examined by the teaching and research Office and approved by the dean (director) in charge of teaching and shall be reported to the Office of Academic Affairs for the record. The lecturer has to finish the lesson plan before the class begins.
Article 7 The lecturer shall be responsible for the teaching quality of the courses he/she teaches. When two or more teachers jointly teach a course, the teaching and research Office shall establish a course teaching group and appoint a teaching leader to coordinate the implementation of the course teaching plan.
Article 8 We should uphold moral education and cultivate people, and integrate the cultivation and practice of socialist core values into the whole process of education and teaching. A syllabus is required for a course to be included in the syllabus. The syllabus should be formulated according to the professional training objectives and the basic requirements of course teaching, including the nature of the course, teaching objectives and requirements, course content and class hour allocation, planning and teaching methods, textbooks and reference books, etc. The syllabus formulated or revised as required shall be submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs for the record after being approved by the head of the teaching unit.
Article 9 Teachers shall determine the teaching progress and fill in the teaching schedule according to the contents stipulated in the syllabus, students' knowledge level and acceptance ability.
Article 10 Teachers in charge of any course must prepare lessons carefully and write teaching plans. Collective lesson preparation is advocated in order to pool wisdom, accurately grasp the teaching content, scientific use of teaching methods.
Article 11 Putonghua is the professional language of teachers. Teachers must adhere to the use of Putonghua in teaching and educational activities, strive to improve the level of Putonghua, and meet the corresponding level requirements set by the provincial Language work Committee.
Article 12. The content of the lectures should be accurate, clear, focused, blackboard writing specification, theory with practice, pay attention to both imparting basic knowledge, basic theory, basic skills, and pay attention to the development of intelligence and ability, and often to introduce students to the new academic ideas and research dynamic, but shall not contravene the socialist core values.
Article 13 Proper teaching methods shall be chosen according to the content of teaching in class, especially the use of heuristic teaching method, and conditions shall be actively created and modern teaching means shall be adopted. We should give full play to the leading role of teachers and the principal role of students.
Article 14 The teaching of experimental class shall be conducted in accordance with the teaching material or experimental instruction. The experimental teacher should prepare the lesson carefully and write the teaching plan, and make experiment preparation before the class. Students should be taught to abide by experimental rules, protect public property, be responsible for the whole process of the experiment, guide students to master experimental skills, complete the experiment report, and carefully review the students' experiment report.
Article 15 The teacher shall assign an appropriate amount of homework or extra-curricular exercises according to the nature of each course, carefully correct the homework, guide the extra-curricular exercises, arrange counseling and answer questions, and assess the students' usual scores according to their completion of the homework and extra-curricular exercises.
Article 16 Practice is an important part of teaching, which is conducive to cultivating students' practical ability and enhancing their comprehensive quality. It is an effective way to improve the quality of education.
Article 17 Teachers who hold internships, scientific research training and guidance for graduation thesis (design or creation) shall have certain teaching and scientific research experience and practical ability, and hold the professional title of lecturer or above or the degree of master or above. The teacher who directs the practice and scientific research training shall be responsible for all the work of the practice and scientific research training.
Article 18 the graduation thesis (design) or creation is the main task of the teachers: to guide the students to determine the graduation thesis (design) or creation of topic selection, to guide students according to the subjects for scientific research and be responsible for the management of the research process, timely understanding of students of the progress of the graduation thesis (design) or creation, guide students to complete the graduation thesis (design) or creation, attend the graduation thesis reply or design review, according to the paper and the level of design work and student performance assessment result.
Article 19 Teachers guiding educational practice should focus on teaching interns scientific teaching methods and cultivating interns' good professional ethics and professionalism through words and deeds. Teachers instructing graduation practice and graduation thesis (design or creation) should focus on teaching students scientific research methods, cultivating students' practical ability, creative ability, ability to analyze and solve problems independently.
Article 20 Each teaching unit shall, in light of the actual situation, formulate measures for the administration of the relevant teaching and research activities, establish the core position of the teaching and research office in the teaching and research activities, and organize in a planned way the open teaching or observation teaching with the nature of research.
Article 21 the teacher wants to take an active part in teaching and research section or course group teaching and research activities, to explore the teaching contents, course system, teaching methods reform, research measures of teaching, training teaching achievements, research paper writing teaching, hold a public teaching, to participate in various forms of teaching research seminars, application field, excellent teaching achievement prizes at the provincial level.
Article 22 Teaching research articles, appraised teaching achievements and prize-winning items published in public journals shall be treated on the same level as academic papers, scientific research achievements and awards in the evaluation of teachers' professional titles and awards.
Article 23 In order to ensure good teaching order, improve teaching quality and achieve training objectives, each teaching unit shall maintain the seriousness of teaching plan. Teachers should earnestly implement the syllabus and strive for scientific rigor, integrity and unity of teaching content.
Article 24 Subject teachers may, on the premise of implementing the syllabus, express their own academic views and introduce different academic opinions, but they are not allowed to spread statements in class that violate the core socialist values, and strictly implement the principle of "no restricted areas for academic research and discipline for classroom teaching".
Article 25 A teacher in a class shall establish a strict concept of time. He/she shall not be late, leave early or stay late in class when class is over or on time. The class time cannot be changed without special reasons.
Article 26 When a teacher is away on business and cannot attend classes due to illness or sickness, the teaching and research Office shall appoint other qualified teachers to take over the classes. If there is a need to change the course, it shall be approved by the teaching leaders in charge of the teaching unit. If there is a need to suspend classes for special reasons, prior approval shall be obtained from the Academic Affairs Section of the Academic Affairs Office.
Article 27 Teachers of any course shall participate in the checking of class attendance on students.
Article 28 The main contents of the assessment of teaching work are teachers' moral cultivation, teaching attitude and teaching effect. The examination should focus on the teaching process and the effect of educating people, and encourage teachers to improve their ideological quality and professional level.
Article 29 The evaluation of teachers' teaching work shall be carried out by such methods as student evaluation (online evaluation of teaching or holding symposia), peer evaluation (attending lectures and reviewing teaching plans), evaluation of experts and leaders.
Article 30 Establish and improve the system of attending lectures. The director of the teaching and Research Office (department) should listen to the courses offered by the teachers at least once each semester, and have opinions on the students or the students report that the teaching effect is particularly good. The teaching and research Office should organize collective lectures to facilitate the communication between teachers and the improvement of teaching level, and encourage teachers to listen to each other. College leaders to the students have a bad report of the teachers should organize related personnel to listen to the lecture, to help teachers improve teaching. Leaders of schools, teaching units and related functional departments must complete a certain number of lectures each semester.
Article 31 A teacher may not refuse to accept a teaching task without good reasons.
Article 32 At the end of each semester, teachers shall summarize their teaching work, and each teaching unit shall deposit the summary of teachers' work and the assessment results of teaching work into the teachers' business files, which shall serve as the main basis for the annual comprehensive assessment, the evaluation of excellence in teaching and the evaluation and appointment of technical positions.
Article 33 Schools shall commend and reward teachers who have made outstanding achievements in teaching and education, teaching reform, teaching quality and teaching material construction through various means. The school sets up teaching excellence award and excellent teaching achievement award respectively, and the school recommends to apply for provincial, ministry and national awards for those with special outstanding achievements.
Article 34 After teaching inspection, teachers who are reported by students and peer teachers to have poor teaching effect or violate the core socialist values should be improved within a time limit; otherwise, measures such as suspending classes for rectification, assigning trial lectures and transferring from teaching posts should be taken according to specific circumstances.
Article 35 Teachers' appraisals, professional appraisals, awards and punishments shall all be put into the teachers' personal business files and shall serve as the basis for the evaluation and appointment of professional and technical positions.
Article 36 Each teaching unit may formulate detailed rules for implementation in accordance with these Measures and in light of the characteristics of each specialty.
Article 37 These Measures shall apply to all full-time and part-time teachers and auxiliary teaching personnel who undertake the teaching work of our school.
Article 38 The Office of Academic Affairs shall be responsible for the interpretation of these Measures, which shall come into force as of the date of promulgation. The Regulations on Teaching Work of Henan University Teachers (No. [2006] 103), issued in 2006, shall be repealed simultaneously.
