On the basis of constantly strengthening communication with counterparts at home and abroad, and according to the advantages of this discipline, we should vigorously develop the industrialization of basic research. in the field of new drug preclinical research, new drug preclinical research is carried out, such as new drug topic selection, drug preparation process, quality standard, stability test, pharmacodynamics and so on. Basic research on chemical drugs: the research content involves the discovery, modification and optimization of lead compounds, and reveals the action mechanism of drugs and physiologically active substances at the molecular level. The main research areas include: 1) Natural products and pharmaceutical chemistry, that is, structural modification of natural or biological endogenous molecules with physiological activities, analysis of structure-activity relationship, guidance of drug design through action mechanism, and search for drug precursors. 2) Organic and targeted drug synthesis, that is, through the study of organic catalysis and reaction design, a simple synthetic method of proprietary medicine heterocyclic and natural product-like ring system was developed, and their physiological activity and structure-activity relationship were discussed. 3) the design and synthesis of anti-infective drugs.
Material basic research of natural medicine: the purpose of this research is to clarify the chemistry and structure-activity relationship of active components of crude drugs, to carry out necessary structural modification, and to establish a screening platform for active components of crude drugs. The use of pharmacognosy chemistry, analytical chemistry and pharmacology and other means to clarify the structure of active compounds has become one of the core links in the research of new pharmacognostic drugs. More than 130 kinds of folk traditional Chinese herbs were screened and collected to study the active components against drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and HIV. More than 200 monomer compounds were isolated from Chinese herbal medicine, such as clove, clove, forsythia, Selaginella officinalis, sessile black sandalwood, bristlewood, cicada, etc., of which more than 20 were new compounds and 2 anti-tumor monomers were found. among them, one anti-tumor active monomer has been developed according to the national first-class new drug.
Molecular pharmacology: focus on tumor pharmacology, neuropharmacology and traditional Chinese medicine pharmacology to carry out scientific research. In the direction of tumor pharmacology, molecular biology and immunology are mainly used to study the current hotspots of anticancer drugs at the cellular, molecular and genetic levels, such as tumor growth microenvironment, topoenzyme I and II inhibitors, targeted drugs affecting signal transduction, angiogenesis inhibitors and anti-tumor metastasis drugs. In China, it is the first to carry out the research on the delivery of natural antineoplastic drugs with natural polyamines as tumor targeting carriers. Andrographolide derivatives with independent intellectual property rights, pharmacological studies show that their anti-tumor activity is stronger than adriamycin, has basically completed the preclinical pharmacological research, and jointly launched the research and development of a kind of new anticancer drugs. In the direction of pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine, it mainly carries out the research on pharmacology, pharmacology and toxicology of new traditional Chinese medicine, and is engaged in the screening and evaluation of active components of natural medicine. The pharmacological research of natural medicine ingredients has been fruitful. The antiallergic active substance NZXY011 extracted from Magnolia officinalis has completed the preclinical study and is undergoing clinical evaluation.
